A few miles inland from the Cornish coast lies Wadebridge, a pretty little town and the gateway to the legendary Camel Trail. The town itself is laid-back yet lively, full to the brim with independent, interesting boutique shops selling antiques, arts & crafts – the perfect place to pick up some gifts. It’s also one of few towns in the area which still has its own fishmonger, bakery, greengrocer and butcher, giving it a strong community vibe.
With 17 miles of gorgeous, rural walking and cycling route right on its doorstep, it’s no surprise that Wadebridge is often the first choice for those wishing to experience the wild Cornish countryside.
